Meghan and Tim at Maggiano’s Naperville, Illinois

I’m excited to show you the photos from Meghan and Tim’s big day! After a beautiful Ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church in St Charles, we headed to 2 of the most beautiful photo locations in the area. First was Pottawattamie Park, and then on to Fabyan Japanese Gardens in Geneva. After we had fun running around the grounds taking photos, we headed to the Couple’s reception at Maggiano’s in Naperville. Sean from something2dance2 DJs kept the dance floor lively, and the garter toss was done with a football! The candy buffet was lovingly done by the Groom’s Mother, and was a big hit.:)Here are some of my favorite photos from the day!

Kaitlin and Frank at Architectural Artifacts in Chicago

Having your Wedding day on St. Patrick’s Day can be a lot of fun. The river is dyed green, and it make sense to use lots of green in your decor….and your shoes!

Kaitlin and Frank braved the crowds with my 2nd Shooter Nicoletta and I to get some great photos downtown, before heading a bit further North to Architectural Artifacts for the Ceremony and Reception.

There were Celtic touches, which were done beautifully. Kaitlin’s Grandfather Albert officiated the Ceremony, which was lighthearted and thoughtful.

The Wedding party did a shot of Malort, which I was asked to photograph. I think you’ll be able to see why:)If you don’t know what Malort is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mal%C3%B6rt

I’m very excited to post the photos from that beautiful day!

Sheila and David at Carnivale in Chicago

I am very excited to post my first Wedding of the year!

Sheila and David had their Ceremony and Reception at the super cool, ultra colorful Carnivale in Chicago. Their Wedding party followed suit, and dressed in various jewel tone and bright colors. After taking some photos during Sheila’s preparations, we had a “First Look” for Sheila and David. I’m not exaggerating when I say that it was one of the most beautiful, emotional First Looks I have had the pleasure of photographing.

We took some photos at their hotel, The Crowne Plaza, and then headed straight to Carnivale for more creative photos of the two of them, and lots of family photos. Throughout the day, it was so easy to see how important family is to them. Their ketubah signing was also very emotional, and then followed a lovely inter-faith Jewish/Catholic Ceremony to honor both sides of their families. The party started soon after, and I got to captured one of my favorite things; The Hora!

Here is a slideshow of the highlights of the day, with music! Click on the screenshot:

You’ll be seeing Sheila’s sister Nicole on the blog after September, as I’m shooting her Wedding too!:)

Special thanks to my 2nd Shooter Nicoletta! I will be posting some of her photos in the upcoming ‘Associates’ section of my site.
