How I Shot It: Photography Tutorial 49

 

I’m obsessed with architecture, and this was taken at one of my favorite Chicago venues, the Rookery Building. I decided to test out my new Canon RF 15-35mm lens on a wide angle portrait, and this was the result!

 

How it was done:

  • There is a light stand to camera left, just out of frame, about 7 feet up.
  • A Godox AD200 is pointed slightly down to the Couple, with a MagMod MagGrid.
  • I moved the flash to where it would hit the Couple’s faces, but not the veil.
